It was a lot more fun than school! What I liked most was how we could discuss things. Most teachers just talk at you, but Ms. Grace always listened to my ideas. Also when I didn't feel confident about poetry, her explanations and activities made a lot of sense. She's probably my new favorite English teacher.
-- Sophie, 11
Teacher Grace was incredibly patient and attentive, guiding me step by step through the intricate process of crafting my first poem. She introduced me to a diverse array of poets, each with their unique style and voice, and encouraged me to experiment with words and structures, igniting a newfound passion for poetry. With her support, I embraced my creativity, blending elements of suspense and psychological depth to craft compelling narratives. Reflecting on my journey, I realised that Teacher Grace didn't just teach me how to write; she helped me uncover hidden facets of myself, fostering a sense of confidence and self-expression that I hadn't known existed.

My writing abilities have grown and improved as a result of our creative writing sessions. By introducing and guiding me through different writing forms, Ms Grace helped me broaden my horizons. She also taught me how to draw inspiration from other works.

Ms Grace is a very kind teacher. Even when I had no idea what to do and was still shy at first, she was patient with me and did not get angry with me. She taught me how to write poems and plays, something I never knew I could do. I highly recommend Ms Grace as you can learn new things with her and deepen your interest in writing.

We truly appreciate your patience in bringing the best out of my girl. Your way of teaching is very impressive. Though my girl loves to write, she couldn't find the right guidance earlier. She is so fortunate to attend sessions with you and is proud of herself with what she achieved. Initially she was hesitant but now she is quite confident and love to explore writing in different genres and formats. Thanks a lot for all your efforts and support.

I was surprised by how quickly Grace established a good rapport with my kid. Rather than treating the student as a passive recipient of knowledge, her teaching was an excellent example of participatory learning, in which she served as the facilitator for my child's exploration and growth. She's the kind of teacher Singapore needs more of!

I appreciate how Grace had encouraged my daughter to experiment with different styles and genres. She really helped her push past writer’s block, culminating in a poem and a play during the creative writing process. Thank you so much!

Grace is very helpful in teaching my 13-year old daughter. She is new to the Singapore education system and was struggling to get through on Literature Writing. Grace is very kind and very patient in helping her from scratch and then develop her into a writer with confidence now. Beyond that, Grace helped my daughter on identifying her interests and strategy on how to develop her literature writing development path in the future. My daughter will definitely come back to Grace after her busy exam schedule now. I strongly recommend Grace to any student who loves writing.
